Ticket Booth Ghost

By Pistachio

In order to fully understand this story, you’re going to need a little bit of background. When I was younger I used to be in a lot of different plays and musicals. This one particular theater I used to perform at was known to be a little (really, super) creepy. There has been a bunch of different accounts (that I have heard) of people experiencing weird and creepy things inside the theater.

On this particular night I had just tried out for a roll in the newest musical. My mom, who was actually a part of casting, was in the other room with her co-workers. It was just the casting people and me left in the theater. Everyone else had gone home after the auditions. The casting directors had shut themselves into a different room since I wasn’t allowed to know who got what roll. So I decided to sit on the stage and wait.

I parked it on the edge of the stage. I just was looking out into the audience. I remember humming some songs and thinking over my audition. I’m not sure how much time went by before this next event took place, maybe twenty minutes. So lets say twenty minutes later, I stared out into the audience and specifically at this ticket booth.

The way that the ticket booth was set up compared to the stage was sideways. If someone were to be inside of the ticket booth, I would have only been able to see the side of their face.

As I stared out at the house seats and the ticket booth, I noticed something. Two hands came out of the window of the ticket booth. The hands looked boney and the fingers were long and slender, like that of an old woman. The hands slowly folded and rested on the ticket booth window. Then just like that, a face peered out of the window and stared straight ahead.

It was a women’s face. She had to be in her late seventies. Her hair was pulled up into an elaborate updo, with a pretty, sparkling fascinator. Her face was slender and bony. She didn’t look scary to me, but I was a little freaked out that some unaccounted for woman who was translucent appeared in front of me.

So I jumped up after watching her for just a brief moment and ran into a different room within the theater. I barricaded the door with a chair and sat inside the room until I heard my mom looking for me. Still pretty rattled, I tried to get her out of theater a fast as possible.

I can’t remember my exact age at this time. I must have been six or maybe seven and this experience has stuck with me through my whole life. I remember each detail very vividly and I do believe that I saw some kind of spirit or energy that day.

I have been back to this theater and I still think that that place is super creepy and possibly haunted.

So in conclusion, I may have seen a creepy apparition on a haunted theater when I was younger and that’s one story I don’t think I’ll ever forget.

Hard to Believe

The paranormal. Some people believe, some people don’t. It’s hard to believe things that can’t be explained, things that can’t be seen. We as humans struggle to believe things we can’t see with our own two eyes. We have all heard the stories, watched the documentaries, and questioned their reliability. After all, we don’t really know for sure.

There are things in this world we will never fully understand and with that lies the burning questions. Is there truth to the paranormal? We question because we're scared of the truth. We will always be scared of things we can never understand.

Since I was a child, not many things have scared me because I have always had somewhat of an obsession with things that seem impossible. From extraterrestrial life beyond our galaxy to the spirits that still linger here with us and the afterlife. I am fascinated by things that people don’t understand. I have tried to gather as much information about these topics and I have even gathered information from a few Psychics and Psychic Mediums to see if I can’t get a better understanding and a little more truth behind these paranormal topics that puzzle even the most credible of scientists.

I personally believe strongly in these seemingly unusual occurrences and wish nothing more than to explore these topics and to travel the world to locations that may be affected or have ties to anything that could be noted as paranormal. I do hope more people will start to believe or at least become curious and explore a little to form an opinion of their own, because as we all know these situations, these stories, are hard to believe.

Might be Time to Move

Story 1:

It all started in Millersburg Pennsylvania. My dad, who was just born at the time, was put into his crib by my grandmother. She had left him there to sleep, but minutes later she heard crying. She went to go check on him only to find him being smothered in his stuffed animals. All the stuffed toys in the house were on top of him in his crib. She told me that she was scared and confused at the time. The same night my grandmother woke up to footsteps running up and down the stairs. She didn't acknowledge it and went back to sleep. For the next few nights, she heard it again. Her husband began to hear it too. She said that he took a bat and went around the house to check for people breaking in, but there was no one to be found. The next time they woke up but only to hear giggling. Now they knew that someone was in the house. Her husband grabbed the bat once again, turned off all the lights in the house and waited around the corner. As he waited her heard in a very faint voice,

“You can't get me, you can't get me,” He waited for over an hour and checked every room and closet in the house.

The next day they called the priest, not understanding he just blessed the house. The next night the same thing happened once again. They called him in fright the next morning. He came in and blessed the house once again, he also flipped to a certain page of the bible and put it on the other end of their room on their dresser. The next night they both woke up to pages flipping. They turned on the lights and saw the pages in the bible flipping back and forth. The next morning they considered going to a hotel for a while. The priest stayed and asked them if they were getting any sleep. He didn't believe them and thought they were seeing things. When the priest went to look at the bible he noticed that a page of the bible was missing, the one her had flipped to the night before. They never found the page after that. But again he blessed the house and put a line of bibles in front of the bedroom door. As they were sleeping, they woke up to hear loud banging on their door. It was like a child was having a tantrum. They heard banging for the past hour after that. The next morning they called him again and he did everything again. It suddenly stopped. They never heard anything like that again.

Story 2

When my grandma and her husband first moved in her husband found an ouija board in the basement. The next day they threw it out in the trash, but it was back the next morning. He was rather confused, thinking he didn't throw it away. He then put it in the trash can and put it next to the curb. About 20 minutes later, he found it again in the same place. The next week he handed the board to the garbage man himself. And still, it was found in the same place the next day.

He then had to wait another week and throw the board into the garbage truck, but still found it. He then took it to the dump himself and threw it away. Again he found it when he got home. He then finally was tired of it and thought he was going crazy, so he took it to the alleyway behind their house and lit it on fire with gas. Turning back around only to see the flames that were once on the board were now in the can. Scared, he then ran over and put the can, which was on fire, on the board itself. He heard awful screeching sounds and blue, black, red, and purple flames coming from the fire. He never found it again

Story 3:

One time in the same house my dad, his friends, and his new girlfriend (my mom) were helping him move out of his room into an apartment. After a time of hard work, they all took a break and were sitting in the center of the room. My dad's room was also connected to the attic by the closet. While my mom was taking a box down from the attic and was about to join the rest of the room, my dad looked around and saw an imprint on his bed. It was like a body imprinting on his bed. Everyone in the circle got chills. My mom suddenly screamed and dropped the box and ran to the center of the room. The door slammed shut and would not open, The door did not have a lock, the room was extremely cold. They kicked the door down and an out of the house, my mom was crying as she climbed. Something had grabbed her ankle and tripped her down the stairs to the attic. They looked and checked and she had an imprint on her ankle which was also scratched for some reason. Later, once they were sure it was safe, they went back and continued their work, even though it felt like the Arctic.
